Opinion for The Hunger Games

I had been reading The Hunger Games, by the author Suzanne Collins. This book is a science fiction, in the future, story about a dystopian society. I like the way the how the author wrote about a sad, cruel world. In some of the chapter, it gives us hope for Katniss, but the author never forgets to make a foreshadowing. That makes the story very interesting and unstoppable to read.
I also watched The Hunger Games movie. I didn’t like the way producer made the film from the book. I guess they focused on making money. They didn’t make the film violent as the book, to make the rating low, so children can watch the movie too. I wanted the movie to be exactly like the book. In the movie, the important part in the book was omitted, like the present from the other district for Katniss.
But I know my opinion is a minority, so I strongly recommend to watch the movie and to read the book.

  1. exactly, there are many differences between the book and the film. Especially, it's difficult to be satisfied after reading the book ;)

  2. That is what I thought after I saw the movie the first time. However, when I watched it again, I could understand why the director couldn't follow the book exactly as it was written. I'm glad the author, Suzanne Collins, helped write the screenplay for the movie!
